here’s just a few ideas….
Reason one
La Marina pretty much has it all… for either a family heading to grab some summer sun, or for a full timer looking to enjoy a winter in Spain… perhaps it’s due to the amazing spa / water park & tropical swimming pool to die for!
Reason two
Normally we write about the facilities or the location… perhaps even what you can find nearby (all of which are great here) But for us its the sense of community we found here during our visits in the winter months. It’s that good that we headed back twice just to see old friends and make new ones
Still not convinced? Here’s another one:
Reason three
Alicante is pretty much a desert… it just doesn’t rain!! so we enjoyed glorious weather in November that even allowed us to get into the pool! But we’d return at the drop of a hat in the summer as it’s so meticulously laid out, clean and with great pitches… and most importantly our girls absolutely loved it!!! Definitely a Top 10 European Campsite for us…

What our family said about it
If you do visit… spare some time to explore nearby (especially Rio Safari and it’s animal assisted therapy centre) .Don’t miss the beautiful run/bike to the beach every morning, nor miss the chance to enjoy the oranges in the hydrotherapy pools in the spa… and last of all, that impressive sports centre! Wow, what a place!
