Leaving Alicante, heading for Águilas
Leaving any campsite after an enjoyable stay is hard, but when you’ve enjoyed yourself as much as we have at La Marina Resort… it’s even tougher when both girls have come to feel so safe and happy here!!
But sadly the nature of our journey across Europe means that we’ve become accustomed to these goodbyes.. but today was even more poignant and sad!! Will we ever return to La Marina’s hustle and bustle and the wonderful sense of community that exists here…
So thanks to all the people who’ve made us feel so welcome over the past few days… it’s true that both girls will miss the opportunity to sit down and chat with you all. Or grab the chance to play paddle, visit the water park or even feed baby Henry!! As ever with this journey, its not the places that you visit necessarily, its the people you meet that make the journey so memorable!!! So here’s some of the highlights of a fun packed adventure at La Marina… just in case you’ve missed our earlier posts!
