So what else is there in Pembrokeshire apart from the Bluestone Wales Resort?
But before we left Pembrokeshire for the next leg of our ‘UK Cities Tour’ we’d planned to visit Britain’s smallest city in St David’s in Pembrokeshire!
Heading south from Porthgain, we headed into New Gale, perhaps one of the prettiest beaches on this stretch of coastline but certainly one favoured by surfers and families who all love the rolling waves and 2 mile long sandy beach!!
There are also castles a plenty in Wales… with over 17 to choose from in Pembrokeshire alone… But if you can, then narrow it down to these Top 6 Castles in Pembrokeshire. All worth a look but especially Pembroke Castle which has special significance due to the royal birth within its walls… you can even stay in these castles too (try Rock Castle – seen in the above picture)
So when you combine all of the above with the fantastic Bluestone Wales National Park Resort and its amazing collection of nearby beaches including Barafundle Bay, Freshwater West & Broadhaven south (see below)…
It’s easy to see why we’ve fallen in love with Pembrokeshire and can’t wait to return to see it in early summer later this year…. but as ever, we need to move on, so Birmingham beckons in the morning!
