Stamford has enjoyed its fair share of history, dating back to AD 61 when Boudica followed the infamous 9th Roman legion across the River Welland… a slightly more sedate market town now, it lays claim to any number of churches and some fine eateries/shopping… but peek beneath the surface and there’s much more to Stamford than meets the eye.
