QUALITY PRODUCTS. INNOVATIVE DESIGN. FIT FOR PURPOSE

Do you have a favourite pair of trousers? We do… As people living in a motorhome for over 30+ months, each item is carefully selected before adding. So quality is of key importance.  Jackets, trousers, woolly hats and garters have all become new additions to our travelling wardrobe as a result. Confident they will fit our needs.
Our Berghaus Ortler trousers are durable, rain proof and great for all things outdoors. Quick to dry. These walking trousers have incredible freedom of movement. Perfect for cleaning snow from the top of the motorhome through to pounding the streets of Strasbourg.

The Ortler trousers also give some great zipped storage and breathable vents. Perfect to stop crucial keys being lost on a ski sl

GENUINE WARMTH. ADJUSTABILITY. WIND RESISTANCE

Both our 342g Ulvetanna Hybrid  Hydrodown jacket (Catherine) and the 526g Baffin Island Hydroshell jacket (Richard) have proved invaluable. Perfect for either Glencoe ski resort or battling the blustery Cornish coastlines. The warmth provided by the innovative body mapping gives genuine protection as too does the peaked hood which allows helmets. Add the Hydroshell technology to the Pertex Microlight and you have usable, well constructed jackets. It’s no surprise that their MtnHaus concept has been so well received.

Simply can’t fault the jackets as they contour to your body via the elasticated hems, adjustable cords. Great heat retention whilst out and about.

Would we continue to add to our growing Berghaus collection? Do you look at prices and wonder if you are getting value for money. We certainly do… For peace of mind and durability, we’d have no issues in adding more Berghaus kit….

CONSISTENT QUALITY ACROSS THE RANGE

Do you get frustrated with companies doing some things very well, and then ruining it with poorly made cheaper items. The same hasn’t been true for us….. The Hartland and Flurry beanies have been invaluable – fitting both us and our girls! With the Flurry beanie taking centre stage due to its inner fleece band.

Garters were never part of our initial packing list, but we were amazed by the amount of times we grabbed them during the -12 degrees in Scotland. Great for keeping out the cold due to the elasticated cords. Perfect for snuggling down into during a fierce wintry storm on the North Yorkshire Moors.
