SSo we’ve made it to Lisbon…. albeit in two different vans!!! Delighted we can share in Keir’s birthday, we have presents bought and treasure hunt clues at the ready!!! The windmill that has been organised is wonderful with real character features and as this blog is a mixture of two days – it certainly enjoyed some good times last night!

Keir’s constant thirst for information led Amber&Den to book an Escape Room in Lisbon which we jumped onto – meaning two rooms with 4 people each. Having never done this we  were intrigued and it was brilliant!!! Clues, codes and riddles to break before seeing if you could release yourself from the rooms! Pleasingly we all managed it – with Amber and Cat (Lottie and Keir) breaking out of the maximum security wing!!!

We then decided to head into Lisbon and down towards the main old town and then into the square beside the beach – the sunset was unbelievably beautiful and the old town dent disappoint… With old elevators and eateries…. liqueurs to taste and street performers… it was brilliant!
We then jumped back into the metro for a wonderfully entertaining metro ride back, full of games from the earlier ride and some new ones thrown in for good measure!! Having landed back, it was a birthday supper cooked by Amber!!! and enjoyed by all!!! Before retreating to our beds!!! What a busy day!!!! and more ahead tomorrow!!!

Lisbon

so where did we park the bus for the night?

(as we were staying with friends at their rented windmill… this one’s blank, but we’s suggest people wanting to visit look at our Sintra Palace post as that are had great access into the city (although there have been reports of break-ins in 2017/8 so best to be wary…)
