LifeinourVan City Reviews | Porto | Portugal

What we liked about it

here’s just a few ideas….

Reason one

Vibrant, Engaging & Unique are the first words that spring to mind, make no mistake, this city is growing in popularity…. Yes it has a little of so many of the cities we’ve visited across our European Roadtrip.. a little touch of Naples in the narrowness of the streets, similar to Bergen for the warmth of the people &  an abundant history & location like Dubrovnik…

Reason two

No visit to Porto could probably be called complete, without taking a chance to see the Tower of the Clergy (Torre dos Clerigos)… but if that’s all you visited, you’d be missing out on the  amazing Baroque ‘Church of the Clerigos’ and it’s ornate chapel…

Still not convinced? Here’s another one:

Reason three

It’s a fantastic city to explore with kids. Vibrant and cultured, just don’t miss the epic ‘World of Discoveries’ museum & the ‘4D Look Porto’ cinem. When you start your trip into Porto, try the 500 bus or 22 tram for a unique experience/view of the whole city

Ever wanted to pack your bags, just jump in a motorhome and go off and explore Europe as a family? Well, that’s exactly what my family has done since September 2015. Visiting 35 European countries, travelling over 54,000 miles and grabbing over 450 family experiences on the way… enjoying Bobsleigh in Norway, Climbing into Mt Etna in Sicily or Kayaking the River Dordogne.
