Motorhoming in Germany | Enjoying Spring Sunshine in Camp SudSee
If you’ve stayed Camp SudSee, a large resort-style campsite in Northern Germany, you’ll know it’s set in a spectacular lakeside setting with direct access to its own high ropes, pony trekking and indoor sub-tropical water park. It’s a special Leading Campings campsite gem not to be missed….
Every campsite should have Something special
(Sadly, we couldn’t grab any footage in the tropical pool… but check out this link here to see inside the tropical water park – click here)

Ideal pitches to relax in for a few days
But if you prefer grassy pitches under towering trees, open sunny hardstanding pitches or those with views over the lakeside… all are reasonably close to the sandy delights of the centre of the resort .So if you prefer to lounge underneath huge pine trees or base yourself close to the superb wash blocks… not to mention the comfort of a decent sized, clean plot with the full range of services.
For us, we’d always opt for access to the water park and lakeside (so we opted for the MC pitches) but would offer the tip that the area See-Eck & Wrogewald are superbly located for both the lake (less than 50m away) and the ease of access to the shower blocks.
The best campsites make holidays feel effortless
These resort style campsites like Camping Krk (Croatia), Union Lido (Italy) or La Marina (Spain) now offer far better value than some of the larger holiday chains (Butlins, Centre Parcs etc). The facilities are now more than equal yet at vastly reduced costs – just see the pictures above of some of the campsites facilities…
When you add to that a sandy beach just metres from the motorhome’s door…. one that allows you to cartwheel to your heart’s content… you’ve sold the concept of a Camp SudSee holiday to our youngest daughter. Whilst our oldest daughter enjoys nothing more than a chance to view the ponies or enjoy a sunset walk along the lakeside… it really has been that idyllic!
