LifeinourVan City Reviews | York | England

What we liked about it

here’s just a few ideas….

Reason one

We’d never really seen the variety that York has to offer before… so spending a full month in York seemed to good an opportunity to miss!! We’ve now trodden the cobbled streets of the famous Shambles and delved into the depths of the Jorvik Centre. But for those wanting easy access into the city… look no further than the impressive city wide Park’n’Ride system

Reason two

The ‘Capital of the North’ may be stuffed full of historical, classical treasures, but York also has plenty to intrigue kids too… but none more so than the impressive archaeological DIG attraction, captivating Jorvik Centre or historic Henry VII/Richard III Experiences!

Still not convinced? Here’s another one:

Reason three

It’s a fantastic area to explore too with kids just don’t forget to head into the Visit York tourist office, as there’s plenty of great ideas floating around in there… or grab a city pass and head straight for one of our girl’s favourites ‘The Chocolate Experience’ beside the Shambles

Ever wanted to pack your bags, just jump in a motorhome and go off and explore Europe as a family? Well, that’s exactly what my family has done since September 2015. Visiting 35 European countries, travelling over 54,000 miles and grabbing over 450 family experiences on the way… enjoying Bobsleigh in Norway, Climbing into Mt Etna in Sicily or Kayaking the River Dordogne.
