here’s just a few ideas….
Reason one
What’s our main tip for families? Head for the impressive cathedral before walking the short walk to where the river trips depart, view the EU parliament & stroll the stunning ‘La Petite Alsace’. It’s as pretty a city as Dubrovnik or Florence in our humble opinion and it’s perfect for kids!
Reason two
They say travelling with extended families can be the stuff of dreams — or a living nightmare. For us, we’ve returned to it’s capital Strasbourg to share one of our families favourites cities with the girl’s grandparents… as we love it that much!!

Don’t miss taking a trip through ‘La Petit France’ as it takes you past medieval twisting alleys full of half timbered houses or winstubs (Alsatian cafes), along the river’s edge towards the impressive Gothic Cathedral.
