What we liked about it
here’s just a few ideas….
With playgrounds and glorious parks everywhere including it’s own Olympic Park, Munich has plenty to entertain young visitors. Its vast range of impressive museums like the Deutsche Museum make it a winner for older kids, too.
Although the capital of Bavaria, luckily, Munich’s centre is relatively compact, so you can easily drag the children around the beer gardens, square with the Glockenspiel plus there are some truly spectacular castles just a few hours drive or train ride away (like Neuschwanstein)

If you’re looking for a fun activity to engage the kids, why not try the interesting Escape Room which proved such a success for our girls. Easily accessed by underground… it’s an easy way to spend 2-3hrs in Munich
