Reason one
Edinburgh is truly city rich in history, architecture and most importantly, fun as you explore all the things to do on a family day out in Edinburgh including our favourites in Royal Yacht Britannia and Camera Obscura.
Reason two
Whether you want to stimulate their growing minds with interactive learning exhibits, or wear them out with adventure and exercise, you will be spoilt for choice in Scotland’s capital. For us, it’s a place that just makes us want to return again and again.

Reason three
It’s a fantastic city to explore with kids. Very safe and great public transport… but there’s also plenty to enjoy close by too. For those visiting for the first time, you couldn’t go wrong if you headed for Camera Obscura and World of Illusions. Or perhaps the Netherbow Theatre, Edinburgh International Climbing Arena or Edinburgh Zoo.
