Reason one
What’s our tip for families? If you love a good canal trip, then this is the city for you… see the city by canal, visit the Historium & head up the bell tower.. then try out the speciality chocolates as a treat afterwards!
Reason two
Bruges is often described as the ‘picture perfect’ European destination and as we’d never been… we wanted to make our own minds up. But we only had to traipse the cobbled streets into the main city centre and we were sold! It’s a little Amsterdam, Venice and Munich all rolled into one!

It’s a fantastic area to explore too, just take a peek around the central square to get your bearings and maybe soak up the Flemish ambience. But if you have kids, take them to the Chocolate Experience… they won’t forget it!
