What we liked about it

here’s just a few ideas….

Reason one

Bordeaux really is as vibrant a city as Berlin or London in our humble opinion and perfect for kids! But don’t miss the Bordeaux city pass as it has a great city tour included… use the trams to get around but don’t miss the fantastic riverside sports park.

Reason two

Ever since we were unbelievably lucky enough to get a place in Complete France’s ‘Top 6 Inspiring Blogs about France’ we’ve tried hard to do this beautful country justice… so here’s a first hand tip ‘Bordeaux really, really discounts it’s prices in the shoulder season… so grab a bargain like us before the season starts as you’ll save a ton of cash in what is a relatively pricey city’

Reason three

As Bordeaux regularly features in France’s Top 10 Christmas Markets, why not schedule in some Christmas shopping on a visit in December. You’ll enjoy local Acquitaine treats like the chocolates from Bayonne, armagnac, pear and prune spirits, faïences from Samadet, potteries from Saint Faust, blown glass from Vianne .

Ever wanted to pack your bags, just jump in a motorhome and go off and explore Europe as a family? Well, that’s exactly what my family has done since September 2015. Visiting 35 European countries, travelling over 54,000 miles and grabbing over 450 family experiences on the way… enjoying Bobsleigh in Norway, Climbing into Mt Etna in Sicily or Kayaking the River Dordogne.
