SO WHY DO WE BELIEVE IT IS IMPORTANT?

Religious Eduction is an important way to develop cultural, moral and spiritual understanding. It allows us to explore the world around us asking questions about the world such as the meaning of life and our beliefs. It is also important to understand the similarities and differences in values and beliefs of religions.

My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness. Dalai Lama

WHAT ARE WE HOPING TO ACHIEVE?

We are aiming for our children to have an understanding of the major world religions in order to be tolerant and respectful of other people's views, customs and traditions.
We are additionally developing their understanding of the world around them and allowing them to explore, ask questions and search for answers about their own beliefs. Finally we would seek for our children to have a clear understanding of right / wrong and what it means to be human.
