Campsite Review | Camping Sylvamar | South West France

thinking of a visit to

Camping Village Sylvamar?

Use our first hand experience to help make your stay even more special…

What we liked about it

here’s just a few ideas….

Reason one

Great coastal location and plenty of sporty option on each side of the campsite… pitches almost all hard standing with great alfresco dining areas and easy waterpark access….

Reason two

The campsite is within walking distance of a superb sandy beach perfect for body boarding.  The campsite itself has plenty of activities for kids including it’s own indoor toddlers water park overlooking the main pool and spa area….Not. to mention the superb restaurants that also surround the tropical waterpark paradise

Still not convinced? Here’s another one:

Reason three

It’s a fantastic area with plenty to see including Europe’s tallest sand dunes at Arcachon or nearby Bayonne/Biarritz. Located in it’s own national park, it has forests, beaches and biking trails to explore… and would be a great family campsite choice for grandkids to grandparents.

What our family said about it

Definitely a place to kick back and relax after driving down from the UK. It’s one of those campsites where everything feels within easy reach… Packed full of facilities to enjoy, there’s also an amazing beach within walking distance. Easily falling within our ‘Top 20 European Campsites’… it’s really that good for kids and adults alike! (even our girl’s grandparents loved it too!)
