Belated Blog…. Activities/Craft extravaganza in Okehampton

I’d love to blame the complete lack of usable wifi or even 3g service to fire up the Huawei black box! But I’m afraid that would be stretching the truth a little… it has been an area of appalling coverage but its more down to being rushed off our feet for the past 3 days!!!

Its been great to grab a chance to spend some time with the girls and grandparents at an activity place in Okehampton (use google to find it, theres only one). With Italy and Germany looming large it has been great to spend some quality family time together…

But it importantly gave the girls a chance to spend some time on their craft namely DT/woodwork/silk painting/glass engraving/enamelling/jewellery making…. the list goes on!!! That have loved working with a variety of techniques and materials and it has made a big difference to both girls….

They have also had the opportunity to try archery, pistol shooting, laser clay shooting, air rifles, swimming lessons, adventure golf, snooker, motorised climbing walls to name just a few!!!

So you can see just how busy it has been….

Well, sadly this part has just finished but it gave us a chance to enjoy a further trip southwards as we headed to Truro and the Carnon Downs Caravan Park…. top site and well worth  visit!!!

So Lands End tomorrow awaits and then back to visit that fantastic city of Exeter, before heading to North Hampshire and then onto London to hopefully see Buckingham Palace!!!

(just to clarify, we’re not starting Lands End to John O’Groats!!! but its going to feel like it before we reach the NEC and the Motorhome and Caravan Show 2016!!!!!)
