So what did we get up to during the last 18 days that we spent in the UK… Well, it’s been a busy time for two reasons..  Firstly to coincide with spending an entire year in our motorhome, we’ve redesigned the entire website and added over 35 new pages of information, tips and advice from our year of travelling across Europe.. New pages like ‘Where to Go‘ or ‘What to Do‘ or ‘Plan Your Family Travel‘ now have downloadable ebooks and we’ve tried hard to produce a series of France PDF’s with examples of our last multigenerational road trip (we took the grandparents in their new motorhome too!)

Secondly we suffered a potentially catastrophic data loss… at first glance looking like we’d lost our entire year’s photos/videos!!! But thankfully we had backed up in two other places and also online (NB Little tip, (i) avoid the WD external HDD as this has been the 3rd we’ve lost across the year, (ii) try using Flickr to back up your photos (1TB of space is available) (iii) try to send your best pictures via iMessage or via email as they are also a further back up should you be faced with our dilemma)

But on the positive side, we managed to celebrate Lottie’s 11th birthday and spend some quality time with the girl’s grandparents, cousins and our friends who visited us in Yorkshire… not to mention spending the entire time with the 5th member of our Family (Tizzy the Golden Labrador)..

So time spent rock pooling at Whitby, Steam Trains over the North Yorkshire Moors or long dog walks in Rutland have re-energised us… we’re ready to go again!!!! Let Year 2 commence!!!!
